HOW IT WORKS

Three steps.
That's genuinely it.

Summit is designed to be the fastest possible daily standup. Here is exactly how it works, for the person recording and for everyone listening.

🎙

STEP 01

Record your 60-second update

Open Summit. Hit record. Answer three prompts.

Every standup in Summit follows the same simple structure: what did you do yesterday, what are you working on today, and is anything blocking you? You have 60 seconds to answer all three. The limit is intentional. It keeps your update focused and your team's time respected. When your 60 seconds are up, you can post immediately or listen back first.

Guided prompts

Summit walks you through the three standup questions so you never stare at a blank screen.

60-second cap

Hard limit enforced by default. No 8-minute rambles. No one has to sit through them.

Review before posting

Listen back to your recording before it goes live. Reshoot if you want.

Record anywhere

Mobile app (iOS and Android) or the web. Works offline and syncs when you're back online.

STEP 02

Your team hears it instantly

Async-first. Everyone listens on their own schedule.

The moment you post, your standup hits your team's feed. Each member gets a push notification and can listen whenever works for them. Morning coffee, between meetings, during their commute. There's no "meeting time" everyone has to show up to. Summit's entire design is built around the reality that remote teams are distributed across timezones, calendars, and working styles.

Real-time feed

New standups appear at the top of the team feed the moment they're posted.

Push notifications

Team members are notified on iOS, Android, and the web when someone posts.

Slack integration

A summary is posted to your Slack channel automatically, so no one misses an update.

Daily Digest mode

Listen to your whole team's standups in one playback session, like a team podcast.

STEP 03

Search anything, anytime

Every word, fully transcribed. Nothing gets lost.

Summit transcribes every standup the moment it's posted. Every word. Every person. Every day. You can search the full archive by keyword, filter by person or date range, and jump directly to the timestamp in the audio where something was mentioned. Three months from now, when you need to remember who flagged that performance regression, you'll find it in seconds.

Full-text transcript

Every standup is transcribed line-by-line within seconds of posting, synced to the audio.

Blocker detection

AI scans each transcript and flags blockers automatically. Highlighted in red, visible in the feed.

Universal search

Search across all teammates, all dates, any keyword. Results link directly to the audio timestamp.

Full archive

Your team's complete standup history, searchable forever. No expiry, no data loss.

WHAT YOU GET AFTER EVERY STANDUP

Four things happen automatically.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Async-first. Built for remote teams.

🌍

Built for distributed teams

No meeting time. No calendar coordination. Everyone records and listens on their own schedule, from anywhere in the world.

Faster than a meeting

A 10-person team standup takes 10 minutes to record and 2 minutes to listen to. That's an 8-minute saving per person, per day.

🧠

More thoughtful updates

When you know your update is recorded and searchable, you're more intentional. Teams report higher-quality updates compared to live standups.

📼

Permanent record

Every standup is archived forever. New teammates can catch up on what was happening before they joined. Nothing is lost when someone leaves.
